What types of payment do you accept?

We accept multiple payment types like credit or debit cards via Pay Wave, Apple and Google Wallets, Afterpay, Bank transfer and cash. All payments will be provided with a GST invoice or receipt.

I don’t have space in my driveway, can you work on the side of the road?

We can work almost anywhere, from a gravel driveway, a paddock or the side of the road, so long as there’s a decent car park space and it’s reasonably level, we can carry out the work.

Will you charge travel to come to my home?

If you have booked a service or repair inside our base area, Hastings & Napier, there will be no additional travel fee. For work outside of those areas, 20-30 minutes out, there will be an additional small travel fee, usually about $20 - $25. For work Further out like waipukurau or Takapau, there would be a larger fee, about $60 - $85

Do you provide payment plans?

While we cannot give credit for work needing to be carried out, we have Afterpay as a payment option and are suppliers for WINZ so can provide quotes for them to approve.

Can you give me a free quote?

Yes we provide free quotes, most jobs can be quoted for free with just your number plate. For some more complicated jobs that either require diagnosis or for the vehicle to be checked first, there may be a $85 call-out fee.

I have a classic or European car, can you work on it?

Yes, Connor has experience from multiple workshops that includes training on working with classic cars, small engines, commercial vehicles and European vehicles.

How long will my service take?

A standard full service on a car or ute usually takes about an hour and a half to two hours.

Can you do WOF’s?

While Connor has his WOF authority, NZTA rules do not allow for warrant of fitness checks to be preformed outside of a registered workshop. We can provide a pre-WOF check to make sure your car is ready before you make the trip to the garage, but we cannot put the sticker on your windshield.
